Tucson is simply a spectacular location to have a wedding. Here's why:

* The weather! Tucson is famous for mild weather all year! Yes, the summers can be a bit on the warm site, but most people don't choose to get married in the middle of the summer in Arizona. Spring and fall are simply gorgeous, and the winter can be just like summer in any other part of the country. Residents in Tucson might be wearing shorts in December or sunning by the pool. This is great to know, since your wedding party will have plenty of things to keep them occupied in the great Tucson outdoors before and after the wedding!

* Tucson is a relatively inexpensive place to get married. This is because the cost of living is slightly lower in Tucson, so services and lodging in the Tucson area tend to generally be a bit lower than many other destination wedding locations in the rest of the US. You might even get some great wedding package deals in Tucson if you get married during the "off-season" which is the middle of the summer, of course.

* There are plenty of places for wedding dresses and tuxedos in Tucson. Tux n' Tails which is at the Tucson Mall offers a huge selection of Tuxedos, and will do on-site fitting and adjustments (the did last time we checked). You can call them at 520-690-2030.

* There are plenty of spectacular locations in Tucson to get married. Ventana Canyon, Star Pass, or the Hilton El Conquistador Golf and Tennis Resort. The latter is a beautiful Tucson hotel is set at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountain range in Northwest Tucson, Arizona. The views of Mt. Lemmon are truly spectacular. It also offers a 45 hole golf course, tennis, luxurious spa services for your wedding party, and more than a handful of restaurants.

* The mountains! If it ever gets too hot while you are in Tucson, you can drive up the Mount Lemmon Highway and escape to the cool pines. There is actually a mountain ski resort up there and the elevation is about 9,000 feet.
